Blue Sky Alek !

I drove a car and listened to the radio, it was a few minutes after 12PM, and then I heard this terrible news...Alojzy Dernbach was killed in an air accident. His gyroplane with student passenger broke up in the EPNC airport, fell to the ground and burned. I didn't believe it. I got off the route, the phones rang, and I called ... unfortunately I finally had to believe ! Alek was a microlight seventeen Polish champion, multiple European champion and two-time World champion. He was an outstanding aviator, a member of the Polish National Microlight Staff, flight instructor, hang glider, paraglider, airplane and gyroplane. He was a co-creator of my flying school "You can fly", I took the first introductory flight with him. He was my friend...it will always remain.

So, the sky darkened. The clouds are crying with raindrops, because they will never be the same again. A large part of this sky belonged to him and it will remain so. On the ground, in front of the hangar, with maps, coffee and not only air stories painted with great humor we will miss him so much. Blue Sky !
